Donna Marie Gaines was arrested in 2010, after police say she told them she killed her homeless boyfriend.
Investigators say Gaines killed 52-year-old Gregory Keith Sigler at her home in Cromwell and burned his body. Bone fragments and a rifle were later found on her property.
Gaines will be sentenced on May 8th and is facing 30 years in prison. A separate hearing will be held beforehand to determine if domestic violence was a factor.
