IN Senate Committee Questions 10% Income Tax

By: Michael C. Fehn
Updated: March 8, 2013
Indiana's top budget man in the State Senate says he's not sure they should push through a 10 percent income tax.

Luke Kenley leads the Senate Appropriations Committee.  He says the new budget should increase funding for schools and road projects.  That's just like the budget the House has already passed.

Kenley hasn't completely ruled out Governor Mike Pence's tax cut, but says there needs to be a balance.
