Owensboro Homeless Shelter Evacuated Due To Meth Lab 17 taken to Hospital

According to the Owensboro Police Department, an active meth lab was found at St. Benedicts Homeless Shelter on Seventh Street in Owensboro. Tents were set up to decontaminate residents, and at least one person is in custody. Seventeen people, including the suspect, where taken to OMHS for observation and officials say there are no serious injuries. Stephen Myers, 41 of Owensboro is believed to be to only one involved in the meth lab and has been charged with manufacturing methamphetamine.
