New Owensboro Substance Recovery Center

People got a sneak peak of a new substance abuse recovery center in Owensboro Tuesday. The state created a program called Recover Kentucky", mandating there be ten centers statewide for those trying to get their lives on track. The center will be on Veach Road by the Greenbelt. It will be modeled after "The Healing Place" in Louisville and house 100 men. Services will consist of peer support and life skills training, including job responsibilities.
