DCPS Honors Distinguished Alumnus

The end of the school year means diplomas and achievement awards.
That includes the Daviess County school systems Focus Awards.
At a breakfast banquet, school officials gave the second annual distinguished alumni award to 1976 Apollo graduate Mark Fort.
Fort began his dental practice in Owensboro in 1983.
Throughout his career he has worked with local schools on dental screenings for children who dont have dental insurance.
The banquet also honored outstanding faculty members in the areas of technology, health and literacy.
