By: Rick Peltier
Updated: June 22, 2007
Kelly Murphy is stepping down as head football coach of the Southridge Raiders. Our sources say he will be the new principal at the high school. The move should become official at the next board meeting on July 19th. Murphy led the Raiders to a 12-3 record last season and to the Class 2A state championship game, where they lost to Fort Wayne Harding. Murphy was 29-12 in three years at Southridge.
