Update: Escaped Hopkins County Inmate Back in Custody

UPDATE:
According to the Hopkins County Jail, Anders was arrested by the Fayette County Sheriff's Department around 10:00 Wednesday night. He was taken to the Fayette County Jail and he will be transported back to Hopkins County.
PREVIOUS STORY:
Kentucky authorities are searching for an escaped inmate.
According to a press release from the Hopkins County Jail, inmate Jake Anders escaped while performing community service at the Courthouse.
Anders was apparently last seen cleaning the stairwell around 5:30 pm Wednesday evening.
Police believe a friend or family member may have picked the inmate up near an exit door.
Authorities believe Anders is heading back to his hometown of Lexington, KY.
Anders was serving a 2 year sentence for theft by unlawful taking over $300 from Fayette County.
