A few technical glitches didn't stop voters from waiting it out on the first day of early voting.
Voting began at five of Vanderburgh County's library branches.
A line of voters had to wait several minutes for machines to get up and running.
County Clerk Susan Kirk says the system must have lost connection over the weekend, but a computer tech was fixing the problem.
Despite the delay, voters say they'd rather come out before Election Day to beat the crowds.
Voting will take place at the libraries until October 29.
People can also cast their votes early at the Vanderburgh County election office until noon November 1.
