Drunk Mother Arrested Following Accident, Two Kids Hospitalized

A rollover car accident leaves a Princeton mother behind bars and her two kids in the hospital.
Candise Dayon, 32, is charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated with a passenger under 18 years of age, Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated Causing Serious Bodily Injury, Driving While Suspended and Child Restraint violations.
According to Vanderburgh County deputies who witnessed the accident, Dayon was driving south on US 41 near Radio Avenue when the car exited the west side of the roadway and flipped several times.
The 2 and 3 year old passengers were both ejected from the car. The little girl was found face down in a ditch and the little boy was stuck in some brush.
Police say everyone was conscious and taken to the hospital. The injuries are said to be non-life threatening.
