The Evansville World War II LST hit another milestone today.
It welcomed its 50,000th visitor since its arrival in Evansville in October 2005.
The LST will take a short cruise up the river Friday morning before returning to the dock.
From there the ship will depart on a four week trip on the Ohio, Illinois and Mississippi rivers.
The LST will make stops in Peoria and Henry Illnois before returning to Evansville on Septemeber 13th.
