Kentucky Wesleyan College has a new president.   The board of trustees voted unanimously to appoint Craig Turner, Ph.D., as the thirty-third president of the college.   The board noted Turner's superb record of achievements and his deep commitment to private liberal arts education in making their choice.   Turner is currently president of Catawba College in Salisbury, North Carolina.  Before that he was president of Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas.   Turner says he and his wife are very impressed with the students, staff and faculty at KWC and they can't wait to get to Owensboro.   Turner has bachelors degrees in English and history, his masters in English and his Ph.D. in British and American Literature.  He has published three books.   The date of his arrival will be announced soon. Dr. Turner and his wife, Annette, have two grown children and three grandchildren.
