(Cleveland, OH) -- Going bald doesn't need to be a traumatic experience even for younger men.
Cleveland Clinic psychologist Michael McKee says too often a thinning hair line leads to a loss of self-confidence that can affect relationships.
Dr. McKee encourages patients to be positive and accept their condition rather than trying to conceal it.
McKee says he agrees with the results of a recent German study showing men who accepted their hair loss suffered less distress.
The study results were released in the international journal "Body Image."
