Local 7's Kayla Moody is at The Acropolis with owner Doros Hadjisavva and they are making one of the best selling dishes, Chicken Lemonati. Here is a recipe that will serve 4-6 people.

Chicken Lemonati

Ingredients:
2 lbs Boneless Chicken Breast
2 oz. diced onions
8 oz diced tomatoes
8 oz Quartered Artichoke hearts
4 oz sliced mushrooms
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon Greek seasoning
2 oz lemon juice
6 oz white wine
6oz Heavy cream (40%)
2 tablespoons of butter

Preparation:

Place chicken breast and diced onions with butter in a sauteed pan.  When chicken is halfway cooked add the tomatoes, artichoke hearts, mushrooms, salt, and Greek seasoning.  Cook for 2 minutes and then add the lemon juice and wine.  When chicken is almost done add the heavy cream.  Turn burner to low fire and let all ingredients blend together.  Serve over steamed rice. ENJOY!!!
