Hopkins Co. Smoking Ban

Its okay to light up in some public places in Hopkins County again -- at least for a while. The county health board adopted a no smoking rule that went into effect a little over a week ago -- but opponents have gone to court to block the ban.
They say its unconstitutional because an appointed board made the rule, not an elected body.
Now both parties have agreed to a temporary injunction until the issues is sorted out.
Theres no set date for another court hearing.
