Accident Shuts Down Section of Hwy 41 in Evansville

UPDATE: All lanes are back open.
UPDATE: Vanderburgh Co. Deputies say 3 are people hurt and taken to the hospital. One of them was a child and they say she was seriously hurt.
Authorities say a vehicle experiencing mechanical problems tried to pull off the highway and was hit by a truck.
Crews are still on the scene.
UPDATE: As of 7:40 p.m. 1 Lane is back open on NB Hwy 41.
Vanderburgh County Dispatch confirms a vehicle accident on NB Hwy 41 just north of Mt. Pleasant Rd. The northbound lane has been shut down.
Several ambulances were dispatched to the scene. Two vehicles are involved.
