Tuesday Morning Shooting Involved Two Henderson High Coaches

The victim in the early morning shooting has been identified as Michelle Cotter, 39, of Henderson. Police say her husband, Steven Cotter, is considered a suspect. Michelle was a dance instructor at Henderson County Schools. Steven is a soccer coach with the same school district.
The Henderson County School District is holding a press conference at 9 a.m.

A woman has been killed in an early morning shooting in Henderson.
It happened around 2:30 in the 200 block of Cardinal Lane.
Henderson Police first got a call this morning of suspicious circumstances. When they arrived, they say they found a woman with at least one gunshot wound.
Officers say the woman was transported to Methodist Hospital, where she died a short time later.
Police also say another man was injured at the scene and taken to the hospital.
Officers remain on the scene at this hour as the investigation continues.
