The future of its rivalry with IU uncertain, the University of Kentucky Men's Basketball team is turning its attention to another Hoosier rivalry.

On Friday, it was announced the Wildcats will take on the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame later this year.

The game will be played in South Bend on November 29th, as part of the 2012 SEC/Big East Challenge.

The two programs have faced off 60 times, with the Wildcats leading the series, 42-18.  But when it comes to playing in South Bend, Notre Dame holds an 8-6 two game advantage.

The last time the two teams played on Notre Dame's turf was in the 2009 NIT Tournament.  The Irish beat the Cats, 77-67, ending UK's season.
