Investigators say the body found in a barn in Spencer County Friday afternoon, is that of a white male and Indiana State Police say they believe foul play is involved. Workers cleaning up the old barn on State Road 66 between Grandview and Troy found the decomposed body around 2 pm, Friday. Investigators say the autopsy for the unidentified male is underway. The body was removed early Saturday morning. Spencer County Coroner Robert Fuller says the man's body is in a state of advanced decomposition so it's unclear how long he had been there, he says the barn was in the process of being demolished prior to the body being found. Now officials are trying to find out who this man is. Fuller says it's too early to determine how the man died and when, but if any identifying marks are discovered he says the public can play a key role in helping identify him. Autopsy results are expected in the next few weeks. In the meantime, police are taking a closer look at all missing person reports. If you know of a missing man in the area, you're asked to call Indiana State Police.
