The Catholic Church in Kentucky is already campaigning against President Obamas intentions toward the Freedom of Choice Act for abortions in America. The movement is gathering momentum after the Presidents action rescinding the Mexico City policy on Thursday. The bill must make it through Congress before President Obama can sign it into law, so the Catholic Church along with Right to Life is encouraging people to tell representatives how they feel. Thats why theyve started whats called a Postcard Campaign. The goal is to make it easier for people to petition Kentucky legislators. Planned Parenthood representatives say people should realize the bill right now is only a draft -- the finalized version will address some common concerns. The Freedom of Choice Act has been circulating in and out of Congress since 1989. President Obama announced during his campaign his intention to pass the bill.
