Smoke Free Workshops in Warrick County

By: Web Producer
Updated: June 11, 2012
The new Smoke-Free Air law for the State of Indiana will become effective on July 1, 2012.
This law prohibits smoking in most public places and places of employment. There are a few exceptions to the law but the majority of businesses are affected. To assist Warrick County businesses to prepare for these changes, the Warrick County Chamber of Commerce is hosting two informational workshops.
Topics will include:
Where smoking will be prohibited and permitted
What is required of business owners
How to respond to customers
Penalties for violating the law
How to attract new customers

The hour long workshops will be held on June 18th at 2:00pm at the Boonville-Warrick County Library and on June 19th at 8:00am at the Ohio Township Central Library. Registration is requested by calling the Chamber office 897-2340 or signup online at www.warrickcounty.us - Community Events. Resource materials will be provided to all registered attendees.
