Henderson police have arrested the man they believe shot another man on his front lawn Saturday morning.  Michael Brown of Morganfield has been charged with first-degree assault after police say he got into a fight with an acquaintance and then shot him. Henderson police say Michael Brown showed up at the home of William Spainhoward in the 300 block of Herron Avenue in Henderson around 11:45 Saturday morning. Spainhoward told police when he came out of the house, the two got in an argument on the front lawn, and Brown shot him and took off in his vehicle. Police say KSP troopers found Brown about an hour later in Morganfield. Spainhoward was taken to Saint Mary's Medical Center in Evansville with non-life threatening injuries. Brown is being held in the Henderson County Detention Center. No word yet on what exactly triggered the incident. We'll bring you updates as this investigation continues.
