Larry Bird is expected to step down as president of the Indiana Pacers today.
According to the Indianapolis Star, team owner Herb Simon is scheduled to meet with Bird to plan his exit from the team.
Last month, Bird said he'd stay put as the Pacers team president for a few more years, if that's what team owner Herb Simon wants.
