Gibson County Man Rescued from Wabash River

      A 51 year old Owensville, Indiana man is rescued from the Wabash River.
    The rescue happened around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday off County Road 650 South in Gibson County.
    According to Indiana Conservation Officers, witnesses say Billy Sherrett appeared to be struggling in the water and was pulled to the shore.
People on scene began life saving procedures until trained personnel arrived. Emergency crews them took over.
Sherrett was taken to Deaconess Hospital. His condition has not been released.
