Store Owner Arrested for Selling Synthetic Marijuana

A Gibson County convenience store owner is behind bars for selling synthetic marijuana.

Authorities arrested 44-year-old Paresh Patel after an 11 month investigation into the sale of K2 at Sam Food Mart on Main St. in Princeton.

Back in August 2011, authorities took nearly 500 packages of suspected synthetic marijuana from the store.Lab tests confirmed they contained controlled substances.

Patel was taken to the Gibson County Jail.
