UPDATE:
A fire late Saturday night destroyed a vacant home on Evansville's west side and investigators believe its arson.  The home may have been vacant, but it still means something to one family.
We spoke with a woman who grew up in the home. A family's home is more than just four walls and a roof, even after they move out.  When Fallan Miller got a text from an old friend saying her old home was up in flames memories took over.
This Saturday night fire in the 900 block of West Columbia Street began in a vacant house. But just two years ago the house was a home.  Fallan Miller's grandmother raised two generations in this old house. Saturday's fire took more than the structure.
John Bassemeier owns a business next door.  Police confiscated the tapes, but Bassemeier says they believe foul play is suspected.
Bassemeier says his heart goes out to miller and her family.  But Miller says since no one was injured, she's at peace.

PREVIOUS REPORT:
The Evansville Fire Department is investigating a structure fire that happened last night just before midnight. Evansville Police were called to assist with the vacant home on the 900 block of West Columbia. Officials say they do believe this is a case of arson and say a nearby business has surveillance footage that shows an unknown white male lighting a device inside the home. EPD's Crime Scene Unit was called and now has the footage. Police have yet to locate an owner and no one was injured. Watch Eyewitness News at 6:00 for the latest.
