Co-Manager Charged with Embezzling Thousands from Senior Center

The former co-manager of the Edwards County Senior Citizen Center in Albion faces charges of embezzling thousands of dollars from the center. Investigators say Deloris "Dee" Harper took $44,000 from the center. The other co-manager resigned in December of 2010 but isn't implicated in the theft case.

The center provides meals and other services to the elderly. Harper's next court appearance in is scheduled is July 27.
