Standoff Ends In Apparent Suicide

A six hour police standoff in Terre Haute ends with an apparent suicide. A man published a Facebook post saying he would shoot himself if anyone came near his home. Police found his body around 6:30 p.m. Friday, about half an hour after flooding the house with tear gas. The coroner's office will determine if a toxicology test should done on the body.
