EPD: Scooter and Car Collide, 2 Seriously Injured

Emergency crews are on the scene of an accident involving a scooter in Evansville.
It happened around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Riverside and Highway 41.
Police say a white car and a scooter collided in the middle of the intersection.
2 people on the scooter were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the white car is being tested for alcohol.
Police have shut down the intersection and are rerouting traffic.
Drivers need to avoid this area.
