An Evansville school is recognized for their hard work. Tonight, as part of the Education Drives America Back-to-School Bus Tour, U.S. Deputy Secretary of Education Tony Miller paid a visit to Glenwood Leadership Academy. They choose to stop at Glenwood because the staff and community helped students go from struggling in class to making double digit gains on tests.

"What theses students need to understand in the caring and commitment doesn't stop with them," said Miller. "They need to excel, and they need to carry the values to their children."

Glenwood was the only school in Indiana to be recognized on the tour.
