UPDATE:

Two Evansville men face murder charges in connection with the shooting death of Cedric Watt earlier this week.  Police arrested Chris Bell overnight after a car stop on Garvin near Walnut.  Police later arrested Ted Mueller Jr. at his home in Evansville.

Every time Tony Dunn walks outside his home on West Delaware Street in Evansville, he says it's a constant reminder of the violence that happened on the sidewalk just a few doors away.

"It's something I'll never gonna forget, guarantee you that. Seeing him there like that with his pants down. It's just horrible," Tony Dunn said.

Tony Dunn did not want to show his face on camera, but says he heard the gun shot Monday morning, a gun shot that killed 24-year-old Cedric Watt.  Dunn says Evansville Police asked him to help identify the man.

"You never think it's going to happen outside your door. I'm used to watching the First 48 and watching in these big cities not Evansville. You know on my street," Dunn said.

Two men are facing murder and robbery charges in connection to the shooting.  Police have arrested Ted Mueller Jr. and Christopher Bell.  Officers say the men were planning on buying drugs from Watt and ended up shooting him.  Dunn says Watt was left on the sidewalk in a pool of blood.

"The way they did it, shame on them. I hope they spend the rest of their life behind bars you know," Dunn said.

According to the probable cause affidavit, police investigated cell phone calls and texts.  Detectives determined watt was at an apartment in Henderson, and got a ride to Evansville with four other people.  Police say Mueller was driving and Bell was also in the car.  Two hours later, Watt was killed.  Neighbors say they want to see justice for Watt and his family.

Police say they are not looking for any other suspects, but the investigation is on-going.  Bell and Mueller appeared in court Thursday.  Their next court appearance is September 25th.  They are being held in the Vanderburgh County Jail without bond.
