Restaurant Helping Radio Personality in Cancer Fight

The fight against cancer is never fought alone and, today, you can help an Owensboro radio personality in his fight against the disease.

Joe Lowe has been on the air for more than four decades and is suffering from stage four cancer. Today, the Tumbleweed Restaurant on Frederica Street, is hosting Joe Lowe day to help raise money for Joe's family.

The event starts at eleven this morning and is scheduled to last until 10 tonight, with Lowe's family receiving up to 20-percent of the proceeds.
