New Ordinance Holds Property Owners Accountable For Underage Drinking

The McLean County Fiscal Court calls it a social host ordinance, which grants local law enforcement the power to cite and fine people for underage drinking.
Property owners would face a $250 fine for a first offense. However, the ordinance would not hold property owners responsible if they are unaware of a party on their property.
