Police: Robbery Attempt Leads to Gunfire

Gunfire is exchanged during a robbery attempt in Owensboro.
It happened in the 22-hundred block of Surrey Drive West, around 12:30 Monday morning.
Police say the victim let a woman he recognized into his home. Afterwards, he says two men came inside, too.
Police say the victim ran to his bedroom to get a gun. He apparently heard a gun shot and fired back, but no one was hurt.
Authorities say they're still trying to identify and find the suspects.
