Daviess County, KY Schools Have New Logo

The Daviess County Public School System is getting a new logo, among other things.
The district is also getting a new slogan, "Great Expectations."
It's all in an effort for student improvement. New Superintendent, Owens Saylor, says less than half of the students graduating from the district in 2010 were considered college or career ready.
Saylor also says educators will be looking to raise those numbers in the coming years. He says the new "Great Expectations" campaign is the way to do that.
