A pedestrian is hit by a truck on a busy Evansville road. Evansville Police say a pedestrian was walking across Green River Road from Thornton's gas station near Bellemeade Avenue, when a red truck hit the pedestrian. They say the driver hit the brakes and then a white car rear-ended the truck. This all happened around 8:45 Saturday night. Police say the pedestrian was taken to St. Mary's with significant injuries. The driver was not injured.
