A controversial Jasper School Board race ends with a landslide victory. Incumbent Nancy Habig beat challenger John King, racking-up nearly 83 percent of votes. It was the first time Habig had been challenged since she took her seat in 1984. As we reported earlier this year, King came under fire after he was linked to a website called savewhitepeople.com, and a personal blog with anti-Semitic sentiments. King also caught criticism for a youtube video he created about white genocide. The race between Habig and King received at least 1,100 more votes than any other Dubois County school board race.
