In a 5A Battle at Center Grove, Castle lost for the first time this season.  Meanwhile, Gibson Southern is a regional champ for the first time in school history.
In the Bluegrass, Henderson County dropped out of the postseason in round two, and at Steele Stadium, Top-Ranked Owensboro Catholic in 2A lost in double-overtime 29-22 to Murray. 
At Rash Stadium, Owensboro beat Madisonville 31-7 to get revenge after a previous loss in the regular season to the Maroons.
