Former Congressman David Cornwell Passes Away from Cancer

A former Indiana 8th District Congressman has died. David Cornwell passed away earlier this month in Annapolis, Maryland, following a battle with kidney cancer. Cornwell served one term in Congress. The Democrat is probably best known for his election night meltdown in 1978 when he failed to win re-election then proceeded to lecture voters about how they had just lost the best Congressman they ever had.
