Our team coverage of the Sharon Place Fire in Newbugh continues with those most affected, the small business owners. Eyewitness News Tabnie Dozier speaks with the owner of The Rug Gallery of Newburgh and what life has been like these last few hours since the fire. Mike Kishline now has this, burned rugs he says are from around the world, now the memories are all that remain. Flames rolled through the Sharon Place businesses around two Saturday morning, destroying more than businesses...dreams, life's savings, and the primary incomes for many who worked here. Kishline estimates close to a million dollars worth of damage. But from this rubble comes strength and the will to move on, Kishline plans to pick up these pieces. A better business and a better tomorrow, Kishline says you'll see The Rug Gallery of Newburgh again. Some business owners are already talking about rebuilding.
