Daviess County Schools to Receive $25,000 Grant

The Daviess County Public School System is raking in the dough after winning a grant.
The district won $25-thousand dollars in the Monsanto Fund's, America's Farmers Grow Rural Education contest.
Officials will be on hand at their Owensboro offices to accept the winnings at 7:00 Friday night. They plan on using the money to purchase graphing calculators, electronic slate boards, and enroll students in online math classes.
