One Killed in Muhlenberg County Crash

Kentucky State Police tell Eyewitness News, one person is dead following a crash on U.S. 431 in Muhlenberg County.

The incident began when a vehicle ran off the road, about two miles south of Belton, just before noon on Friday. Troopers say another vehicle stopped to help out, but as that good samaritan was standing on the highway, they were struck and killed by a dump truck.

Troopers say the road was wet at the time, but the crash is still under investigation.
