VU Student Dead; Police Investigating

UPDATE:  Police in Vincennes do not believe foul play was involved in a shooting Saturday night that killed a VU student.  An autopsy was performed Sunday.


PREVIOUS REPORT:  VINCENNES - Vincennes Police are on the scene of a shooting in the 600 block of North Second Street near Vincennes University.

Police tell Eyewitness News there is a death investigation underway.

The victim was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Vincennes University confirms the victim of a shooting near the campus is 22-year-old Malcolm Stalling of South Bend, was a student at the university.

Stalling was majoring in automotive technology.
