A non-stop flight to Orlando, Florida will depart from Owensboro Thursday morning, after this mornings flight was grounded. The transportation security administration refused to clear Allegiant Airlines maiden voyage. The problem was with the Owensboro Daviess County Regional Airport, not Allegiant Air. As of last night, airport officials and local TSA workers believed there were no security concerns and the flight would take off, but overnight, TSA officials in Washington said no way. But TSA has now given permission for a flight to leave Thursday morning at 9:20am. They faxed the airport the official papers, but airport representatives say the administration still hasnt told them what was wrong.
