PSC To Announce 270 Area Code Decision

The Kentucky Public Service Commission will announce its decision in the area code 270 relief case next Monday, December 17th.
The Commission must decide whether to overlay the area code 364 over the existing area code 270 territory or to split the 270 area code and designate a different area in western Kentucky as 270.
PSC officials held public meetings in Henderson and in Owensboro earlier this fall, but did not have a very big turnout by residents.
