Meteorologist David Heckard has an update on the threat for storms, wind and snow for Thursday in his Weather Authority Forecast.

***WIND ADVISORY FOR THE ENTIRE TRI-STATE THURSDAY*** 

***HIGH WIND WARNING FOR CLAY, RICHLAND AND LAWRENCE COUNTIES THURSDAY***

EVENING: Mostly Cloudy. Shower Possible. Breezy & Mild. Temperatures in the mid 50s.

OVERNIGHT: Mostly Cloudy. Showers/T'Storms Increasing (Some Storms may be Strong towards Daybreak). Windy & Warm. Rising temps between 65-70.

THURSDAY: AM Showers/T'Storms, then Some Sun towards Midday, then Rain Changing to Snow Showers (Heaviest North). AM Temps in the 50s, falling into the 30s late.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Gradual Clearing. Snow Showers Ending (Dusting Possible Far North). Very Windy & Cold. Low 24 (Wind Chill Values 10-15).

FRIDAY: Mostly Sunny. Windy & Cool. High 37.
