Residents in an Evansville neighborhood are dealing with multiple fires in the same homes. Fire crews have been sent to two abandoned homes on the 700 block of East Iowa Street and Linwood in the last six weeks, and those living nearby are fearful that if nothing is done to stop this, their homes may be next. This is becoming common, fires in the same two homes and neighbors like Amber Thomas are confused and worried. "Its freaking me out because I'm like I don't know about this and they're right beside each other, Thomas says. With so many unanswered questions about the origins and causes, neighbors are starting to think of their own ideas as to what is happening. "All these are occupied so I'm hoping if it is homeless people coming in they hopefully wouldn't come into an occupied house." This home has caught fire twice as recently as Friday and the one behind it once. But with these fires, there's now alot more eyes watching, "Everytime I come home I just look and be aware of my surroundings and who is out at night and what's going on," says Thomas.
