By now, many of you have probably taken down your Christmas decorations. Today, some Tri-Staters got rid of their Christmas trees.
The
Vanderburgh County Solid Waste District held its annual Holiday
Recycling Day today at the Civic Center.Volunteers
say more than two-hundred Christmas trees were ground up and given
away as mulch instead of being tossed into a landfill. Residents also
recycled items like paper, glass, aluminum, and plastics.
The
next recycling event will be January 12th at the old Walmart west
from 8 am to noon.
