Deputies Identify Victim in Deadly University Parkway Crash

Deputies say Eileen H. Grubb, 92 of Evansville is dead after a fatal accident in Vanderburgh County.

The Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office says it happened just before 11:00 AM on Highway 66 near University Parkway.  Deputies say a blue 2003 Chevy Impala, driven Grubb, failed to stop at a stop sign, went through the intersection, and was struck by a white 2010 Ford Escape.  The driver of the Escape was unable to stop in time.  Grubb was driving the Impala was pronounced dead at the scene.  The two people in the Escape were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.  The Sheriff's Office is still investigating the accident.
