Officials Say Weekend House Fire was Electrical

We know the cause of a weekend fire in Evansville. Firefighters say the cause of the Saturday fire in the 2,000 block of Egmont St. is electrical due to too many things being plugged into an electrical outlet. No one was home at the time. It happened around 8:30 p.m. Crews battled the flames for about half an hour. There were no injuires, and the Red Cross stepped in to help the family.
