A tugboat has sunk in the Ohio River near Owensboro. The Coast Guard says oil residue from the boats engine room is getting into the water. A pollution investigating response team is on the scene looking into it. Two people were taken off the boat. One did go to the hospital, but the company that owns it says the people arent seriously hurt. The boat is sitting on the Spencer County, Indiana side of the river, across from the Executive Inn. The company told us there wasnt any cargo on it. The Coast Guard does not know why the vessel started to sink. They hope to pull it out Tuesday morning.
